Question about ARB Jack

I’m wondering , anybody that has one of these , do you mount it or store it on its side??

I've got one. I guess you could lay it horizontally, but the manual states it should be stored vertically long term.

I store it Horizontally in its zipper cover with no issues

I have my jack across the top of the front bumper . Easy to get to.

I store mine horizontally in my Decked drawer system

Mine is secured to the ARB bumper in the front of my LR. I use a purchased cover for the mechanism.

edit: just realized, after some research, that the ARB (hydraulic) is different from the Hi-lift (mechanical) mine is HL so mounting it horizontally is not a problem.

Yhe ARB jack is hydraulic and very different from the Hi-Lift. ARB says long term storage should be vertical. I guess as long as the fluid doesn't leak.....
