Question About Coolant

*My boyfriend is on a trip in Wyoming and has limited internet access so he asked me to login and post this question for him*

He is wanting to know if the coolant he purchased, 50/50 for 2000 and older Chryslers, will be fine to use for his 1999 Land Rover Series I Discovery or not. If not, what kind should he use?

When in doubt, nothing beats good ol' plain water. For a week or so the lack of coolant will not cause any problems. Distilled water is best if available.

He needs to match the coolant that is already in there or get one that can mix with any kind. Napa sells coolant that can be mixed with any kind. That would be a safe bet.
