QUESTION: Gen 2 Bouncy Seats in a Gen 2.5? Just the bases, or the whole seat?

I just got home from the junk yard looking for a few small Gen 2.5 bits and happened to bring home a pair of bounce seats from a Gen 2. Will the bouncy base work with the power seat from the Gen 2.5? Do I have to swap complete seats? The bouncy seat upholstery and foam are toast. Has anyone swapped stock upholstery from one seat to another?

I don't mind having manual vs. power seats, I just don't have the money to reupholster the bony seats.

They do not interchange with the power seats, it's all or nothing.

That's what I assumed. I wonder if I can switch just the cushions.

The underside of the seats are physically different in many ways, not sure how you could swap the cushions but might be able to switch the covers.

I may have to just get them redone at some point. When done, they should bolt into the same mounting points as the 2.5 seats, right?

Yes, bolts into the floor are all the same.
