Question on Blue Seas plug and socket

My truck does not see the extreme use (98% paved road) that a lot of people on this forum put their gear through, but I would like to upgrade the power supply systems I use to run my Dometic CF35 and to charge my Yeti 400. On long drives I have had one or the other vibrate loose and loose power.

Looking at Blue Seas plug and socket and have a few questions.

Will a normal cig plug work with a Blue Seas socket? and in that line, will a Blue Seas plug work in a normal cig socket? People do ride in my second seat and will use the rear power port to run phones, toys, laptops and stuff. I don't want a proprietary system otherwise I would just upgrade to Anderson PP.

My truck is a 2012 F150 and I do have room on the back of my console to add another socket if needed, but I would like to avoid doing that. The current socket I want to replace has constant power.

Anything else I should be asking? :)

Yes but still would not use for over 10A continuous.

No.

Use APP yourself and keep ciggie adapter pigtails handy for guests.

A voltmeter, maybe even amps display is handy.
