I am putting a frame on my M416 for my RTT and was wondering if anyone has gone with pipe as opposed to square tube and how you attached the tube to the trailer ? I would think that a round pipe would slide easier than a square tube and I am in the process of drawing up a plan to have the RTT and frame completely clear of the tub so I can either put on a Marine Grade cover or a 2 piece hinged cover. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have my RTT on my FJ now so I'm not missing out on camping/fishing trips this Summer but my Kayak is a bugger to get on the top so it usually rides through the back and only on short trips. That is another reason I was thinking/designing a frame for the trailer. I like Kayak fishing !
