question on rear axle ubolts

i ordered a new set of stock height leaf springs this week. the company i ordered from was out of stock on the ubolts so i thought i could pick them up locally. wrong.

how critical is it to not reuse ubolts? can i run the old ones for a week while the new ones are being shipped?

As long as the nuts come off and go back on okay and you don’t see any signs of fatigue or cracking anywhere you can reuse them until your new set comes in. Just make sure you look them over well before reinstalling.

thanks for the info. the ubolts came off fine and they look good. the shackles on the other hand are toast. now i have to order those too.
