The previously posted pic of mine with the bent bars and about 1100 pounds of lumber on the rack is on a standard SnugTop cab-high shell with standard Yakima rack components. I have carried heavy loads with some regularity for 18 years, no cracks or checks in the fiberglass. I looked at the reinforced roof option and passed because of price.If I ever chuck the popup,I'm getting a Snug Top fiberglass with a contractor upgrade. They add another layer of glass to the roof and sides.
