Last Feb. I dismantled my trail rig and the M1010 I bought recently isn't going any where soon. So I have to settle for my 2wd F150 for this trip.
I'm going to colorado in 2 weeks with a friend that has a 4x4. The real reason we'll be there is for a wedding, but we figured we'd mess around a little while we're there.
We're bringing 2 dirt bikes for us and a 4 wheeler for the girls. Those will be for the harder trails. Our intent is to use the trucks to get to the camping spots and not to actually run trails.
I'll be making a receiver hitch mount for my winch that was on my rock crawler. I'll also be adding recovery points to the front of my truck and building a double receiver rack on the rear to hold the dirt bikes.
This really isn't a build, just a quick couple of things done to make 2wd more recoverable:sombrero:
I'll add pics with what I'm doing in the coming 2 weeks.
