If thats the road Im thinking of, its a great road. I cant remember if I took 50, or 6, I think it was 6. We drove it on the way back from yosemite to Utah. I thought it was a blast, goes through some cool areas. I dont think youre coming as far north as me, I'm in the provo area. But if you need a place to stop let me know. Sounds like a fun trip and congrats on the bike thatll be fun. I will get an adventure/enduro bike in the next few years, its a little behind the van on the priority list but one day. Drive safe.

I'm in Valley Springs. Decided to postpone the trip a couple days, what with the heavens opening up over this area of CA with severe blizzard warnings in the Sierras. Bike is an 03 with 40k on the clock but only 1k on a full top end rebuild. Every mod I was planning on doing has been done plus some very nice suspension components. Mostly barter but approx $3400

Nice. I'm looking to buy this one from my friend when I go back home for christmas. It has no title though so I'm going to have to find out what I need to do to make it legal.

I am so glad I didn't try to ride it home. The roads were pretty bad coming over the Sierras on the 80. Lots of 25 mph in the snow near Tahoe. I have never owned a motorcycle and that would have been a nightmare first trip on one.
