2000 Ford E-350 Super Duty Chateau 7-passenger van with V10 Triton 6.8L gas engine and Quigley conversion.
Location: Alexandria, VA. USA
Mileage122,116 miles.
Price: $13,000.
We have loved this van. It was a Quigley demo van that we bought from them in 2002 and have had ever since. Details, mods, and major maintenance events below. No accidents.
VIN: 1FMNE31S8YHA76910
Aluminess front winch bumper (no winch) with front tow hitch and Hella driving lights. Installed 2012
Aluminess roof rack with solid diamond plate deck and center rail. Installed 2012
Recarpeted and new stereo, 2012
Rear shelf mounts welded in for removable 3/4 inch plywood shelf. (This really boosts the usable space for carrying gear.) 2003
6 New Alpine speakers 2016
Major attention from Tiger L. at Quigley: steering stabilizer refit; rear differential bearings, seals, shims and oil replaced; FWD shifter O-ring and buhsings replaced; alignment sleeves installed; other odds and ends. December 2015 at 93,692 miles
AAMCO transmission rebuild with new assembly kit, filter, fluid, torque converter, muffler, front and rear brake rotors and pads. December 2017 at 114,021 miles
Replaced gas tank (with new tank from Quigley), replaced fuel pump. October 2018 at 118,503 miles.
I have all the maintenance records for past 18 years.
Runs great. Air conditioning and all lights and systems work except for cruise control. (Ford dealer mechanic checked it out - it is fixable for a cost, but I never used it so I haven't bothered.)
Problems: My only concern with this van is rust underneath and above the rear doors. There is one small body ding on passenger side near rear wheel.
