As I've gotten deeper I've found that multiple parts of the passenger side head are broken, along with the thermostat housing, intake plenum, and timing cover. I'll be taking the timing cover and valve covers off this weekend.
I'm finding lots of pieces on car-part, and I'll likely get some there and lots new. My hopes of pulling an entire front clip from a local wrecking yard are fading...
I'm still digging it, though. The lack of any damage past the front of the frame rail is amazing, and whatever it hit just snagged the middle and top of the engine.
I'll keep documenting as I go along...

Thanks for the update and yes please keep posting images. There are going to be a lot of these vans on Copart in the future. Just look at how many Amazon Promaster with low mileage there are, it's amazing.

I think one challenge though is that everything seems pretty tight in there up front, so any accident is going to possibly cause more damage than let's say a Tacoma.

I would do everything possible to get body panels with factory paint on them even if that includes driving to pick them up. That will ensure that everything ages in the same manner.

Good advice, which should be easy since 99.9999% of these vans are white...

Look at the LKQ website and see what they have in their parts inventory.

I did some more digging to figure out what was causing the engine to not rotate by hand. Turns out the impact pushed the right intake camshaft backward enough to break the head and intake cam thrust flange so now it only rotates slightly. I inspected through the spark plug holes with a boroscope and found no contact between pistons and valves and the chains didn't have any odd stress when tensioning the crank, so I feel pretty confident there isn't any severe damage outside of the head. Car-part here I come!
