Ram 1500 outfitted

So I outfitted the Ram 1500 and will be taking it out to Joshua Tree next weekend to see how she sleeps. Tuff Stuff roof tent, Took a bed rack and modified it a bit. Old Bike rack modified to carry gas cans and tire. Iron Bull Bumpers and 1200lb winch.

Its a rack I found online for 90 bucks and I just modified it. Cut the bottom brackerts off and welded plates to fit the bed since I have the ram boxes, Welded two cross bars and shortened the height. Welded some pieces to hold Trax, ax and shovel.

Huh. Cool idea with the bike rack. I guess if it can handle 4 bikes at ~30lb each, it can handle weight of a tire and gas can.

Took the rig out for a test camp and worked out great. Winds were gusting 40 to 50mph and didn't budge the tent. Cold wind didn't get in to the tent and it was nice and warm.
