I had to shorten it about 4" in the front. Figure out how to seal the side doors when closed since they used to seal on the bottom rail. Also either rework the rear door to work with truck tailgate or trim out and create seal around the back. Then I'll work on the inside...
I will probably start with sealing up around the cap rear lift gate first and see if I like that. If not I'll cut it down and go back to factory tailgate.
Inside I plan to mount my ARB fridge. Extra overhead storage for camping trips.
Also need to build rack on top to carry bikes or other fun toys

On the door strips, will you be able to run a bulb seal back in at each corner to keep road spray for working it's way inside?
Definitely like your idea on the red lights. A dim red light source is really helpful at night
I will be working toward better sealing down the side door edges. For now it seems adiquit for keeping things dry. I was able to seal the back around the tailgate opening very nicely.
My next challenge is finding a place to mount the second battery.

You are in distinguished company when it comes to sideways pictures. Lots of threads here with sideways pictures, normally when posted from a cell phone direct to forum.
Nice job, this was my exact thought on how to make a shell work for a rambox. I'm amazed that none of the manufacturers have started building shells for them yet
More progress. I couldn't see any reason why I could not mount the second battery in the side box. There is a metal support under the bottom so I'm going with this spot for now. I ran wire up the frame to the national lunar battery solenoid. Made up a simple panel for a 12v outlet (I'll add more later). Mounted my fridge...
