I needed to bump this thread. We rescued our girl about a year ago, she's really starting to shine with the confidence she's gained.

Friends of ours borrowed Kokopelli to go dock diving at Wild Fest in Las Vegas. She fun jumps at a local reservoir but has never been in a pool. She had fun and even got a first place in one of the waves.

What a ham! Back at Kolob Reservoir, Utah:

Hey all! Here's my partner, Sailor Bruce. He's a 15-month old Rottweiler x Doberman ... He's my best friend, my son, and my Service K9. Once we get a rig built-up, he'll be trekking all over with us! :)

Now, onto the pictures:

... And one more of the little man during our daily commute; he really loves being out on The T when we decide not to drive in to work :)

Man aren't dogs great? Mine will not get out of my site. Here's one of them and then both of them watching me build the xpo trailer.100_1039.jpg100_2671.jpg

Some of you that have followed this thread may remember my post (quoted below) about my 10 year old Aussie passing in his sleep. It was crushing to say the least!

My 8mo old daughter hasn't laughed anywhere near as much as she did before the Aussie died. He made her giggle like nothing else on earth.....until last week when she giggled at another Aussie. :Wow1:

Over the last 2 months I haven't left my wolf hybrid alone. He did not know a single day of his life without "Guinness" our Aussie. He has whined, barked and been a hooligan around every Aussie he has seen in the last 2 months. Totally out of his normal mellow character.

So the world was just not right with only one dog in it! It was missing an Aussie.....so we installed a new one.

Picked him up today. 11 weeks old. Seemingly much mellower than Guinness was at this age. So hopefully he will be great with my daughter and other older dog.

I could use some name suggestions!

My first post in this thread was back in 2009, quoted below. I've had my two pups by my side 24/7 since 2003. Take them everywhere, all the time!

Last Friday night my Aussie, "Guinness" was playing with my 6mo old daughter 100% normal, ate dinner normal, came to bed and slept on my feet like every night for the last 10 years.

I was dreaming that night about taking the whole family to the giant dog park the next morning. Jumped out of bed at 5am because the house seemed just a bit too quiet. Guinness had passed away in his sleep! :-( Laying in one of his normal sleeping spots like nothing was wrong!

The most common thing people used to say was "how old is your puppy?" To which I had to reply....10 years! He still ran, played and acted like a happy little pup. His death was very sudden and extremely unexpected! It's been a crushing week!

Please, take a moment to go love your pups while you can!!!
