An old dog learns a new trick. Max discovered the pitfalls of a prickly critter in the woods. Unfortunately it was at 11pm in the hills above Encampment, WY. So it took a while to locate an oncall vet (in Rawlins, she was awesome) and get him sorted. I wouldn't have been able to pull all the quills without sedatement.

OUCH!!! Bet he doesn't do that again!!

My dog didn't:coffeedrink: 'Sam' only had about a dozen quills, it took a while, but I got them out.


Yep, I'd say Duke is plum tuckered out!

The thing has been going for 2 years straight.. has a couple rips but she still works fine. Pretty funny, i didn't think i'd ever see a dog use one... she climbed right in it. Great for the night time campfire.. toss a blanket on it and they feel protected.

And yes they do make a larger version for bigger dogs. :ylsmoke:
