S Scenic WonderRunner Guest Jul 5, 2010 #1,664 The Mormon Immigrant Trail. Cedar Mesa, Utah. The wagons of the 1800's came through here. They dug the trail by hand and by dynamite! You can still see the wagon wheel ruts on the trail! Cool! Some history and maps. The views along the trail are awesome! And plenty of campsites. My campsite. A great view of "Bears Ears"....along the trail. (from my 2006 trip to Utah and the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. I miss it! I want to be there!) .
