Just took an 800mi road trip from L.A. up the 395, up over Tioga pass and across the Sierra and into Yosemite Valley. took over 500pics, about 100 decent and a few I really liked.

Santa Clarita Sierra/Vasquez fire, bloomed about 3hrs ago. Looked really close so I went driving in search to see what was up. Big mess. eta they're calling it the Tick fire

The Phos-check jetliner was already working, as was CALFIre's white/red superscooper and county fire helicopters.

A small portion of Horicon Marsh, Wisconsin. The vastness of this place just didn't transfer well in my photos. This was my first time at the marsh and it is amazing even though it was mostly frozen over with only a few birds. I will return in spring when the migratory birds come through.

Mirror image of the Eugene Mountains in northern Nevada at sunset. The salt flat is covered with water perhaps an inch deep to provide the mirror. Sagebrush looks like it is floating.

Trying to drop photo into text box and I keep getting an error that "something went wrong".
I've reduced photo sizes to less than 100kb and still same issue. Any ideas or tips?
