That is a magnificent winter picture of Wheeler Peak!! Myself, wife, and two sons hiked Wheeler years ago.................but not in the winter. One comes onto the summit from the right up that long snowy ridge. Look at that snow blowing off in the winds. A gem of a National Park.

That was a just a couple days prior to Memorial Day in 2011 if memory serves.

That was May 25, 2011 - the wind was really blowing that day and the air was still brisk
