A good rainy weekend.
Had a nice weekend camping in and around the Georgian Bay area. Unfortunatly the new born black flies were hungry and when the sun did come out when not raining they decided that our pooch, Sophie, was to be their first meal, so time near the water, or doing much of anything really, was limited. On the up side though, while camping, we met a few new friends,
Evelyn Symons and
Don Martel. We shared one or six bottles of chianti with a group of freinds that stopped by camp later that day, and we all chated well into the evening about, life, and of course travel.....all and all, good times.
The next day was a wash, rain, rain, and more rain. After mulling around camp the first half of the morning trying to rid myself of the massive wine induced headache I gave myself the night before, my friend suggested we go to the sands. Sounded like a plan, the headache certainly wasn't doing much for me...
Where does sky start and earth end...
Fog rolling in , almost time to go...
...but wait, perhaps hope?
Sadly, no, there was little hope as the skys turned dark and it got really foggy.
Later that day though, right before dark and after the rain, the sun briefly broke through and I was lucky enough to have my little G9 with me to catch this shot.
The next day, more rain, it's time to go home. I wonder what the weather is like at home? sigh...
