Razart's 2017 Tacoma Build

New member here. I got a lot of information and inspiration trolling these threads so I thought I'd give back something in case it will help another member with decisions for their build.

Started with a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad.

Modifications to date:
Snug top Cap Sportsman package, paint match
Front Runner slimline rack 49x61.5
Icon Vehicle Dynamics stage 4 suspension kit. 3” lift
Firestone Air bags to adjust for the weight of the truck vault and gear.
5 Nitto trail grapplers 265/75R16
5 American Racing Baja rims. Alloy 17x8

Body armor
All CBI products powder coated flat black. This company makes great products.
T3 Front bumper with short center grill guard Winch-ready (no winch installed)
T3 Rear bumper with swing away tire carrier. Holds hi-lift jack, spare tire and fold-down table. Hidden hitch mount. Rigid Industries back up lights in addition to factory back ups. Dual jerry can holder.
Full skid plate set
Bolt on Rock sliders with kickout

Storage
Truck Vault drawer system in bed. Dual sliding drawers-full length of bed.

Other
ARB 6’ awning

The truck drives great and takes us anywhere we want to go. We've been on a few adventures: Death Valley, Sedona and several trips into the Sierras. Had a roof-top tent on it initially but have since removed it.

Looks amazing!! If you don't mind me asking, why'd you remove the rooftop tent?

I removed the tent for a couple reasons: the rainfly, which you can't remove, flapped in the wind quite a bit. Kept us up at night. And, 2 the added wind resistance. It was a Tepui ruggedized tent. I really like the idea of a roof-top tent but just didn't work for us. We like to keep thinks simple so we bought a foam mattress and sleep in the bed of the truck. Works great. This also has the bonus of leaving the roof rack to carry traction boards, shovel, etc.
