Rear awning for James Broud Space ideas

Hi All,
I've been using my newish Baroud Espace and it's pretty cool. I like to put my head towards the screen at the rear of the Jeep with the cover unzipped. It's great. Until it rains.

Anyone have ideas for rigging up some sort of awning on the rear of the RTT? I see that ARB makes a 49 inch awning, but the logistics of safely mounting that to the rear fiberglass "spoiler" of the tent and working out the angles necessary to make it all solid (with legs attached to the Jeep) when the tent is in use may require a bit more attention and/or mechanical ability than I have to give.

Searching turned up nada. Anyone that can point me in the right direction will be worshipped.

Thanks.

Give a call to Rin at OK4WD. They are the East Coast dealer for Baroud. If there is an option out there Rin would be the person to contact.

I have an Evasion Evo. I recommend getting a good tarp. I have a Kelty Noah's Tarp, but there are other ones as good or better. I won't drill anything into my she'll until the warranty is up on mine, but the tarp is easy to rig, with or without a set of poles. Once my warranty is up, I'll have my local canvas guy make me a custom setup that attaches with aluminium sail channel at the top and invent a retractable side support system so I can have a sheltered entrance. That is my only complaint about the James Baroud tents... exposed ladder entrance. I'd pay handsomely for a system similar to the Autohome Verandah.

Have you all seen the Eezi-awn Stealth? It looks like the answer to my initial post. Rear awning and ladder storage (outside of the sleeping area). Costs a bunch, weighs a lot....but very cool. I am going to try an Eezi-awn Globetrotter on a trailer next, but if that doesn't work the Stealth will follow.
