Thought you guys might find this interesting. Swamping a drivetrain component is a surefire way to lighten your wallet...hard to beat the insurance installing an extension can give you!!

Just did mine after swamping the trans and rear axle....$500 mistake!

O my trucks axles I ran enough 1/4" fuel hose to allow for travel and in the end I use a piece of 1/4" copper tubing formed into a spiral that makes 3 revolutions
ending with the open end of tubing pointing down and secure it to the frame.So far so good.

I don't use copper tubing, but I also use the spirals...it takes more hose, but worth it IMO
