Rear Axle Emergency Brake Parts Rotted

My rear Sterling 10.5 from a 1999 F-250, installed on my 2003 E-350 ujointoffroad 4x4 van needs some love.
All the e-brake parts between wheel stud and the the u-bolt are missing or completely rotted.
I tried to get it inspected, but they couldn't pass it for the e-brake. There wasn't even anything to attach the cable to.

Any good source of parts out there?

Or, my mechanic mentioned that there is a kit that uses the stock rear hydraulic brake system, with a valve that holds pressure, to function as the e-brake.

Anyone heard of this?

Thanks!

All of that stuff is available at any common parts store. Or just line lock it! Are the cables there and hooked up?

X2 can find them at the Jobber. I bought a basic kit with springs and clips for a few bucks... You'll likely need adjusters and other crap not in the basic kit.

Line Locks won't pass here as an E-brake. They also won't do you any good if your master fails. You'd be SOL.

Thanks Chris,

I have the cables but they're not installed, got the Ford factory manual, but it was hard figure out, I always worked on my motorcycles, but this was confusing so I took it to a shop.

Everything on the e-brake was rusted or missing. The shop said they couldn't order parts without the VIN of the axle donor vehicle. All I know is both axles came off a 1999 F-250, so I guess it would be a Sterling 10.5?

I tried going to rockauto.com looking for F-250 axle or drum brake parts, but had a hard time figuring what's what, not too many pictures.

Maybe I should just go to the parts counter at Autozone or Pep Boys, and tell them I need parts for a 1999 F-250 axle. Are they all the same axle?
