This thread is to catalogue the various, aftermarket REAR BUMPERS that the Expo community has.

Posts in this thread should indicate the following:

Vehicle: Year, make, model
Bumper Manufacturer: ARB, TJM, custom-fab, etc.
Associated Accessories: Swing-out, winch, lighting, antennas, etc.
Mounting: Bolt-on or weld-on
Other Notes: Interesting items of note
Picture: Attach or link to a picture

Please try to keep posts relevant and on-topic to make this a handy tool for the forum.

I can't start this one since mine is still stock. I'll be fixing that soon. I'm especially wanting to see the different rear-bumper swing-outs like the dual one that VikingVince has.

(Since this post is largely irrelevant to the catalogue purpose, I'll delete it once the thread gets going)

Vehicle: 2003 Toyota Tundra SR5 Access Cab
Bumper Manufacturer: Tough Country
Bumper Model: Economy Rear Replacement
Associated Accessories: bone stock
Mounting: Bolt-on
Other Notes:
  • I purchased this one before my front replacement. If I were ordering it, like I did my front, I would have gotten integrated D-ring recovery points and an integrated receiver hitch. As it sits now, I will likely remove my aftermarket hitch and put a receiver on the bumper above the lower drop plate to improve departure angle. There are holes on the drop plate that are too far in from the rear to accept safety chains without an adapter such as a shackle. Before my next expedition, I'll remove the hitch. I will use large shackles that fit in the holes on the plate as rear recovery points.
  • I moved the wiring harness location from where it was below the drivers-side diamond-plate, to the new location by using a hole saw above the plate on the left side, just to the right of the tube.
  • Eventually, I plan on replacing this with a more suitable off-road bumper/fender protection/spare tire/receiver tube/recovery point/air tank solution.
This photo was taken before my lift/BFGs and before I moved the trailer wiring harness/socket up.

Did the bumper replace the cross member? or was it in the way?

Replaced. If you zoom in to the last pic, you can make out the remnants of the x member.....and the replacement which could be designed differently but I think it was done to incorporate the receiver hitch.
