I was looking for a bumper too.I was thinking Aluminess,or the member in this build thread.His work looks god,but I have only seen the posts here.Aluminess is more well known,but,I think I remember..and I may be wrong, a member here had one of their bumpers that had to be repaired.I think his name was Kowboy,he had a Ford truck ,he was posting his trips a few years back.I will try to find his posts as I am thinking about this project again. So I heard back from these guys and they can make/retrofit one of their Silverado bumpers to fit my Suburban. Only other options were cutouts for lights as well as shackle mounts with 7/8" pin holes. I was looking at just over $1000 shipped to my door. I would still have to find someone to fab up a swing out tire carrier and hopefully some jerry can holders as well. I will keep them in mind as I reach out to other resources and figure out the best direction to take. I definitely like the clean lines on their bumpers.

On another note, on some other sites, I found links to a bunch of parts like latches and spindles. Just a few parts of the whole equation but I guess its a start.

As an owner of an Aluminess, I believe there quality and detail is top notch. The other nice thing is they will take there production bumpers and put custom touches on them for not too much extra.

Sent them a message. Will see what they say. They look nice but boy are they on the pricey side. Getting a bumper from them would end up costing me over 1/4 of what I paid for the Z71.
