Rear Drawer Build for the Oregon Trail Off-Road Land Cruiser FZJ80

We needed more space for the big expedition back tracking the Oregon Trail so I decided to build a custom rear drawer system for our Land Cruiser rather than buying something universal that wasn't fitted to the rear area. Here's a few photos of the build I started documenting it a little later than I should have but here's few photos for the complete build check out Pinterest.

That looks nice! Higher than most you see, but roughly the same height that I was planning - level with the top of the lower tailgate. Do you have any interior shots? Or a build thread with dimensions perhaps?

No I have some build photos on our Pinterest but if you want specifics let me know. The drawer box was 44"x44". I angled the back at 18 degrees that fit the slope of the seats. I used 250 lb drawer slides and paddle latches from eBay and the carpet was an outdoor rug 6'x8' you'll need 2 rolls, there cheap. lots of scribing and dry fitting. I used 3/4 ply I had at the shop, if I did it again I'd go with 5/8 cabinet grade ply to save weight and its a truer panel. I used 1/2" cab grade for the deck, front, and drawer faces. I hope that gets you started.
