I’ll be checking all the bore dimensions. I’m betting that it won’t do anything the rust didn’t do. The chemistry is only reducing iron oxide, not changing iron at all. It can always be line bored if needed.
I used baking soda that I cooked in an oven for an hour or so to drive off the hydration and co2. Next time I might buy washing soda, but I literally spent about $3.50 on 6 lbs of baking soda, so... I don’t want to lose that investment?
