View from the Empire State Building?

Flatiron building in the center with the Met Life tower on the far left side?

Once again, the choice is not between Canon DSLR or Nikon DSLR, but rather between the Canon lens system or the Nikon lens system. Thinking about the body first is like putting the cart in front of the horse. Think lenses, think glass!

I've had the Olympus E-500 for almost 2 years and have been very pleased with it. I like the fact that I can be as controlling of settings as I want or not! Sometimes it's nice to just point and shoot. :)

Great information, I am in the same market as Stan. The knowledge and help offered on Expo never stops amazing me. BTW...have I seen this NYC shot on the home page of flickr? This is a great shot.

The NYC pic is one I took of the Flatiron building from the 86th floor of the Empire State Building.

I liked the idea of capturing the first "skyscraper" in the city from one of its most iconic.

Not sure if it's the same one as on flickr, but I'm sure it's a popular shot for many people.

Still loving this Olympus! :)

Here's a couple shots from my new Canon T1i. I'm shooting in Medium Fine format (8 mp) for now to save some HD space. I haven't had much time to play with the thing because its mid-terms week and I went camping right after I got it and didn't feel comfortable taking it with me on that trip.
