Recommended adhesive for insulation to aluminum sheet.

Circling back on what I'm seeing with the loctite PL3X.

I bonds to the EPS and XPS foam fairly well on cut edges. It doesn't bond well to the face of XPS Foamular 250. After reading reviews and the specs that it bonds foam, I was underwhelmed with how it performed.

The extruded surface of XPS is really smooth. It may work better if the surface is roughed up.

I also tried PL8X fast grab and it really didn't want to bond to the face of XPS.

There is a mold release film on some foams that can be pealed off. I think formular has one. DuPont square edge did not.

There is a film on the Foamular NGX and it is easy to peel off prior to bonding.
