Recommended blog or website for tracking adventures?

Looking to document and record all of my adventures. I'm hoping for something easy to use, but still capable of a range of features. I'd like to have a main 'trip' section with regular updates on where I am and what I'm doing. I'd also like to have some other sections where I can talk about gear, vehicle, tips, etc., as well as a gallery for photos. So I'm not sure if this would need to be done on a website, or can still be accomplished with a regular old blog.

Looking for recommendations. What have you used? and what did you you like/dislike about it?

You might try Blogger account and email your pics and updates while on the road. It's a super way to document a trip... assuming you take the time to write those emails and take those pictures.
Oh, and it free.

If you are considering free blog sites, look at Wordpress too, I noticed more traffic when I switched. You can get free or buy templates.
