Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Install JKUR

Hey all,

I finally got around to installing the Redarc Two-Pro Elite in my JKUR today. After watching the install videos from eTrailer, I had a pretty good grasp on what needed to be done. The only issue was that they put the remote dial right where the goodies are on the Rubicon. So I grabbed the dial and started messing around with install locations around the Jeeps interior. I finally settled on a spot between the shifter and the cup holders.

All in all the install went very smooth. I did have to use a different/longer "ethernet" patch cable to facilitate the dial mounting location. You can also see in the attached photos that I had to take a razor to some of the plastic to make enough room for the backside of the dial.

I love the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite and feel the install looks very factory.

Were did you tap into the brake light switch at? I’ve installed 2 brake controllers in jks and hate tapping into that skinny wire at the brake switch always worries me.

Same spot. Yea that skinny wire is a little scary. I made sure once I tapped into it to secure it very well. I felt like any little tug would rip it off.
