Surprised to see this thing finally for sale! Is there any threads/references on how to convert a Kodiak/Topkick to 4wd? I have experience converting the ford cargo vans but unfamiliar with the MDs.

Yeah, surprised this has not sold yet, but the world around us is quite different these days. Lots of layoffs in the tech industry which I think translates to less affluent buyers in the market, too. There was an ADV Mobile rig for sale not too long ago. The seller picked an auction style sales model and of course it did not sell as the reserve was too high. I think a) the sales model and b) the inability to really inspect the rig played a role in it. I personally would never buy such an expensive rig sight unseen and I am also not a fan of auctions if you want to get a certain amount from the sale. Auctions are for when you want to get rid of it and have time limits.

For your sale here, I would replace the very first picture in the original posting as it shows the old price ($185K). Get the rig detailed and really really clean inside out. Then I would also record a new video tour for YouTube so that it captures all the latest and greatest about this rig. Now add fresh pictures here and there. You're selling a dream vehicle, make it mouth-watering with cool shots. Don't just dump the new photos into a photo bucket, post them here for everyone to see. 3-4 per posting. Hero shots. Sell the dream. ;-)

If not done so, list the rig on FB marketplace and other websites.

Yeah, as much as I'm not a fan of Facebook, it was on Facebook Marketplace where I got pretty much all the buyer interest when I recently sold my old van.

Great advice and much appreciated. I already changed the picture in this ad, good call. I had forgotten it had the original sales price on it. We are still using the truck so the full detail will have to wait for a buyer visit. The pictures are a good plan as well. Need to let people know it's still out there. Yes the ad is up everywhere. I've gotten some interesting inquiries from Facebook, not surprised. Thanks for the feedback.
