Refrigerator question

Plan on installing a Dometic 1.3 cf refer in the back of my pickup truck (enclosed with cap but unheated). Question is how do these small fridges perform if the temperatures get down below freezing say in the 20's or even lower. Planning on keeping the fridge temp probably around 35-36 degrees F, not using it as a freezer. Would the compressor freeze up or something? Would food and drink in the refer freeze? Should I unplug it if temps go below freezing? TIA.

Thanks for the reply. So yeah the food might freeze but no damage to the refrigerant system?

I have kept fridges (Waeco, FridgeFreeze, ARB) year-round in my vehicles for 15 years....from below zero F to well over 100 F. No problems.
