the snow peak out of stock is annoying

lucky I dont care about that side only certain things IGT related or fire pit stuff etc...
but they could go the way of TNF and become more fashion since there is a huge amount of money in that


the snow peak table is about 1/3 the weight ? so you pay more for less weight the REI looks like a awesome buy for sure

I like the look of this table.
We own a lot of SP gear and although I don't agree with condemning a product because of the way it is marketed I share your 'Hipster' thoughts.

Slightly OT though I did read an article today that denotes the demise of the hipster though the replacement...

I don't want to start a debate on which is better and why. I also don't condemn their product even though I come off like it cuz I don't like their "hipster" image they portray lately. Especially their Portland, OR store. Could they have found any other place any more hipster? haha.

I think they have great gear and I've wanted some of it but the stuff I liked was always "out of stock." I kind of lost track of them since every time I looked they didn't have what I wanted.

I dont think there is a better product there is always a better for ones use

I have been wanting a few things and they never get them in or never carry all the product line either

I set mine up over the weekend. Went to a local expedition shop's meet up and figured I'd take the teardrop with me. I set up the table and ARB chairs.

Looks like an adequate end/coffee table... but looks low for eating/playing cards/games on, at least for me.

Thanks, just ordered one. Looked like a good way to use the rest of my dividend. Seems a little heavy but it looks nice, definitely better than the tables with the roll up aluminum tops.

Snow peak has some nice looking stuff. But I went in the Portland store once and was blown away with the ridiculous prices. The sales associates were pricks too when I went in, didn't see a reason to give anything another look.

Low table is perfect with my low chairs.

Used mine over the weekend for the NW Overland Rally. Worked great. Yeah it's a little low to use for eating if you don't have a low sitting chair, but it worked great at night for holding drinks, snacks, and the cigar ashtray. People liked the touch using a nice cigar ashtray with my set up, haha.
