I own a heavy duty canvas tarp that I use for an awning and it's got a rip right around where the grommets are. Anyone have insight on how this can be patched up?
Around the grommets? On canvas you'll have to cut off the offending corner and have a new corner sewed on with a new grommet. Not a hard thing to do for a competent shop except matching the color and texture of the fabric. I'd suggest calling Springbar. Their repairs dept is the best in the biz.
I was kind of hoping to do it myself and just get some canvas repair tape or something but the placement of the rip being right near the grommets is the kicker.
