Did u also swap LEDs into the illumination of your AC controls?
Mine are.
I had 2 bulbs left over and I tried to get to the back of the HVAC unit to see if it was the same bulb, but I couldn't remove the unit enough to reach the bulb, but it seemed to be a much smaller bulb from what little I could see, similar in size to a gauge cluster bulb.
When I have more time, will try to get to the back of the unit.
Gents, to keep this in one thread I'll ask this here. Regarding the instrument cluster lights being out, after I took the bezel assembly apart I found not one bulb but 7 blue bulbs that light up the dash. None work, therefore do you think it might be the dimmer switch or is there a fuse somewhere else besides the fuse box in the cabin?

Did you LED the gear indicators, drive-wheels, battery warning etc.? If so, which bulbs did you use, I've been looking for an LED replacement for these:
I didn't do them,i'll have a look into it though,as I want to replace them all with LEDs at some point

those are type 74 bulbs
Have another issue. I found that is was not the bulbs but the #23 fuse which is for the tail light not the gage cluster. When I first replaced the #23 the dash lit up but after starting it the lights went out again. I replaced it a second time and it happened again. Any ideas as to what could be the probplem?

Add anything electrical recently? It may have failed...

These T5 PC74 Twist Sockets White 5050 SMD from ebay fit/replace the dash lights. I bought 10 and replaced the 6 gear lights (P,R,N,D,2 & L) and the 4 drive-wheel lights. They're about twice as bright as the old incandescent bulbs. I'm considering buying more to replace the other remaining lights.
I reused my old sockets as the new ones where slightly too snug; it's easy to pull/wiggle the incandescent bulb out. Learn from my trial and errors, when you go to seat the new LED bulb into the socket, it's best to flare out the two contact wires before you insert the LED bulb. It's also a good idea to gently flare out the two contact points on the socket before you seat the bulb/socket back into the dash. Half of the LEDs didn't light up at first until I pulled them back out, flared the wires and toyed around a bit until proper contact was had on LED to socket and socket to dash.

I ordered these: 10X 31mm 6 SMD 1210 LED Pure White Car Festoon to replace the 2 dome, 1 rear cargo, 2 door and 2 map light bulbs, I'll update once they arrive and install.

These came yesterday: 31mm 6 SMD 1210 LED Pure White Car Festoon Interior Dome Light Lamp Bulb.
Used them on the dome lights (2), cargo light(1), map lights(2) and door courtesy lights(2), these smaller SMD's (1210 vs 5050) give off an almost pure white light, there's just a hint of blue. I really like how well lite my Monty is now when getting in/out at night or looking for something in the rear. The two on the door use slightly smaller bulbs, but if you gently bend the contacts back a bit, they fit.
