Restored 1958 Alaskan Pop-Up Camper

A classic pop up camper that has been immaculately restored back to its classic vintage glory. Plus some modern updates and amenities to make it more comfortable/usable. This set up is ready for anyone from your weekend glamper, to a full time living situation. This restoration went down to the frame and was rebuilt with integrity and to the highest quality with the intent to make it last another 60 years. All the inner panels on the top half have been replaced. Lots of new poplar 2x2s on the roof portion have been replaced where the old ones were rotted. The sub floor has been replaced with a new 3/4 ply along with the exterior walls that meet the floor due to rotting in each corner. All bad wood has been replaced to make this structure very robust and new. I’ve spent the time to stabilize and overbuild it where there were any points of weakness. I built a 12 volt system to add the puck lighting, ceiling fan and electric water pump. All controlled by a marine style rocker panel. I added a power converter to charge the 12v system off of the original 110v plug in. I added a new 100 watt solar system from Renogy as a supplementary power source. New 100 amp hour Renogy battery to pair it all to. The entire lift system has been rebuilt with new seals in the bottle jack and in every hydraulic lifter, new oil and I even painted the jack to look new. The cabinets have been re-finished, stained and treated with polyurethane. The inside of the cabinets are painted white. The ceiling was painted ultra pure white and portions of the walls painted forest green. Table and countertops have been re-finished. I could go on for hours about the details of this restoration. Looks like an 8 footer to me. That's an early one - I don't remember when Alaskan began but this has to be one of the first? We had one from the mid '60s when I was a kid.
