Need some pics of your TR beadlocks on your G! And TR only has 5x135mm, so how did you adapt to your 5x130mm?

Tire size is 315/70R17.

Guys, I like the classic lines and look for the G-Wagon but when you add a 50mm lift and larger tires the spare becomes a problem. It’s been 1 year on my G550 with a lot of Colorado intermediate 4x4 Trails under it. The Mercedes G-Wagen Spare Tire Flip Mount is solid, no signs of stress to the back door and it still utilizes the class of the stock look. I am very happy with this product and for guys like me who one day is in town at a fancy restaurant and the next day hanging off the side of a hill at 10,000 it’s perfect!

Over 5 years and 100,000 miles since I built our reverse tire mount. Never had any issue and the door is still as solid as it was when I bought the rig. We rotate in our spare every few months so the tire does come off/go on frequent-ish.

Would not adding a panel/piece to the inside to support the bolts relieve the stress on the door a bit. I did that to my pinz but I really do not know the construction of the G rear door.
