Review of New ARB Fridge

Have you checked the calibration on your thermometer? Mine seems to be around 3-4* off (on the cold side).

I think the location of the temperature probe on the fridge is critical.

If it's inside the cold box it's great, if it's somewhere else you may as well not have one.

Really like the new ARB, but my experience is the same, I set it at 38F and it has been reading 35F - guess I will just adjust for that.

Thanks for the review. I had already purchased the new ARB but wasn't sure what were all the improvements. This helps me understand that.

As for the temp being off. This is probably obvious but you may also want to doublecheck the accuracy of the thermometer you're measuring it with and if necessary calibrate that thermometer.

Just finished a full week with the new fridge. I'll be writing a follow up but I'll say here that the fridge worked flawlessly and the battery management is sweet.

I have the New ARB and the fabricator working on my truck just broke the latch. Only lasted 2 weeks  Other than that, the fridge has worked great and I have had it plugged in since I bought it.

More info please

He pulled straight up on the latch. He said he didn't pull very hard. I've had more than a few people try to pull straight up to open it. Usually I catch them before they start really yanking. The latch broke on the left side where it connects to the cooler. The latch still functions it's just not as tight.

What is he fabricating for you? I hope it holds up ok.

He must have really reefed up on it hard to break it...

He's making me a fold down bed/couch that folds into the wall if needed for storage.
