After about a year of trying to figure out what kind of rig would work best for us we ended up ordering a 2016 Hallmark Everest 8.5' camper to go on our F-350 SRW CC long bed diesel pick up.

One of the reasons we bought the camper now was to give us a year or so to customize it to best suit our needs before we take some of the longer Overlanding trips we have on our agenda. Here's a picture of what I did today while it is raining (again) in Virginia!
