I have a Road Shower 2.
Adding a little boiling water is pretty easy. Just bring a big squatty funnel and you're good to go. My wife likes a scalding hot shower, this really helps bump the heat up, she has a lot of hair and to wash it with HOT water is a big plus for her, she isn't as cool with warm water as I am. Happy wife, happy life or something like that.
That said, I have still had good hot showers in the non-summer months (obviously you need some sun) but nothing beats a HOT shower at the end of a dusty day on the trail. I have been looking for a way to insulate the tank after the sun has heated it up with reflectix or an insulated wrap of some kind but that is just one more thing to carry. As it is I am resisting the shower stall tent thingy and we just use it for a good rinse/bathing suit shower and wash up.
