Rocker panel replacement

Has anyone ever cut out the factory rocker panels in their 90 to 95 forerunner and replaced them with tube.
I would love to see some pics of this if so and any comments on how successful it turned out.

check on pirate there are a couple on there, doesnt work too well on the yotas. lots of full size guys do it though. also try searching "boatside"
