Roof Rack Design and Accessory Mounting Questions

Blake, the front feet are just supports that do not bolt down. I haven't heard of any complaints from Gobi or Baja users (Baja uses same concept). I plan to run limb risers which would probably help hold the front of the rack in place, too. I haven't heard from Gobi in a while...I was told they'd contact me to discuss the build in more detail and they'd shoot me the CAD drawing of the rack...but nothing so far.

We may not have a finalized product yet but it might be before you get that Gobi, from what I've heard. As soon as I get the okay to ship... It'll leave here the same day. I guess being a huge company we have that ability, while Gobi, being smaller and having to build everything by hand, wouldn't have the resources or time to build and stock lots of product. That would take up tons of space....

That being said, Gobi makes a great product and sells a bunch of (JK) racks (that I've seen). Now go update your website. haha. I'm done.
