Roof Rack mounted retractable awnings (such as ARB)

To the guys/gals running these....do you ever have issues with low hanging tree branches getting tangled between the awning and roof rack mount?
I am considering such a set-up on a teardrop...see them all the time in pictures on the forum and they look like a nice setup, but am concerned that they may be a tree branch magnet.

I have them on both my Jeep and trailer. I wouldn't necessarily call them magnets, but I have hit them on occasion. I have leaned to be more careful when driving through narrow areas or where there are low hanging branches. I have not torn one off nor damaged any of the three I carry (one on the passenger side of my jeep and one on each side of my trailer). Not sure if this helps, but from my experience they have not been a problem if you just remember they are there.

Thanks for the reply...maybe a guy could rig up some brush cables to make the majority slip over the top.
