Roof top tent - Bay Area Locations- Where to camp?!

Hello everyone,
Other than the obvious,- Half moon bay, Samuel P Taylor, Chabot etc., I have been looking for places to camp overnight with my roof top tent.

What I really have in mind, ideally, would be someone that has some land that they are not using maybe along Skyline(HWY 35), or along the coast- where myself and my girlfriend could pull up, play some music, cook some good food, and crash over night.

I think $20-40bucks would be fair compensation for this.

If anyone has any connections or other ideas on where to camp- that would be great. I know there are no overnight Walmarts in this area.

Drive down to big sur and look at the Los Padres national forest.
Free camping and lots of places to set up camp and do your thing. Beautiful drive and well worth then effort.

I love Big sur area, any suggestions from people on where to turnoff or go to camp?

Yep, start at Half Moon Bay State Beach and head south, New Brighton, Sunset, Manressa starting in Capitola. There's a nice campground in the city park in Monterery. From there head to Big Sur and further south. There's also Big Basin and Butano State Parks. There's an area south of Pescadero and north of Costanoa where RV pull off but it's not really legal and San Mateo is taking steps to shut it down this year.
