*Price Drop 01/20: $1650*

Hello, all! I've got a Roofnest Sparrow Eye hard shell 2-person tent for sale in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC. It's a 2018 model, so the new shell design. Purchased in August of 2018 and used about 20 times in the last year. I just moved out here (to Maryland) from the Pacific Northwest and don't have time to use it properly anymore. The shell has a couple scuffs and the rear decals are peeling, but I believe you can order new decals from Roofnest if it bothers you. Tent fabric and mattress are in very good condition and the only living creature that has ever slept in the tent is me.

I can set it up, ready to sleep in, in about 10 seconds. Closes in about 30. Sleeping bags and pillows fit inside when closed.

The tent goes for $2800 new, plus a couple hundred shipping. I'm listing for $1850. Ladder, shoe bag, and awning prop rods included. I can take more pictures upon request, the tent is currently dismounted and in my garage. I'm not interested in shopping at this time. Thanks for looking.

*I'm having issues posting pictures, but PM me and I can email or text them to you.

*edit, hopefully these pictures work*

Here's some interior shots of the tent being stored in my garage. I recently discovered a slight surface stain on the mattress fron where rain water came through a window I left open while camping. That's really the only aesthetic or functional flaw with the tent other than the "roofnest" decals peeling.

I posted some pictures of the tent being used everywhere fron the Northern Cascades to Canyonlands over the past year. The tent has been dismounted, unused, and stored in my garage since I moved to Maryland in May. I can take more pictures upon request. Accepting reasonable offers.

I would buy this in a second but I'm all the way in San Diego, any way to ship it?

I'll look into shipping options, but I doubt I could find a way to make it cost effective on your end. I'll let you know, but thanks for the interest!

Where in Maryland? I'm in Springfield, VA... Looking at buying one of these to merge with a truckcamper to make a pop-top...

Up! Dropped the price to $1650. If I don't sell it before summer, I'm going to be using it all season. Let me know if have any questions.

The tent it's currently stored in my garage. The inside has been thoroughly vacuumed and wiped down. More pictures added to original post.

Any chance you’ll be heading towards Cleveland sometime soon? Looks like your about 5.5 hours away.

Unfortunately, I don't plan on heading that way anytime soon. You could head this way, mount the tent up, and pop right out onto the Mid-Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route for a fun trip, though!

Hi, what is width and is it end ladder access? Thinking of mounting on my Outback....

Hi! It's 48 inches wide and yes, rear ladder entrance. I've never actually used the ladder since I have a gobi ladder on my xterra, so it's basically brand new.
