Rooftop tent question

I am thinking of purchasing a RTT for my 4Runner. I will have to leave it on the car permanently. Is that a problem?

I have a Go Fast Campers tent mounted on my 5th gen 4Runner, and it has been great. It has been mounted on there for 3 years. I highly recommend the GFC product. Yes, it is expensive but the build quality is high and it is made in the USA with US components. It does affect the handling some, especially when sustained winds are above 20 mph, but the Old Man Emu suspension has helped stabilize the ride as compared to stock.

Yes. Depending on your environment and the tent, you may not want to though.

I like in Oregon. You know what we have. I have a FSR Odyssey. The seal is amazing and never leaks. I never have to open it to air it out in the rainy months.
