About two weeks ago I acquired a fairly low cost 2008 LR3. It has a few quirks and generally needs some TLC and a dash of crazy.

Behold- the blank (ish) canvas!!!

Since the purchase, I have been acquiring parts to bring her up to spec for daily duties and dirt road explorations. Step one was to replace the driver's side halogen assembly with the correct HID piece. Step two was to repair the front HVAC blower, which was inoperable.

One eBay trip, a Harbor Freight (aka hammer store) lens restoration kit, and some elbow grease netted me a proper-looking front end-

After that was done, I dropped the glovebox lid and started looking for HVAC issues. They were pretty easy to find...

A new resistor module and some harness repairs got me a working front blower. Heat is a nice thing to have...

Today I replaced the air suspension with an Atlantic British Old Man Emu suspension kit with 2" of lift. I also went down to 18" wheels and up to 255/70 18s in load range D.

It looks, in my opinion, really good with the new shoes.
