This one is great too.

These may be available at an LCBO in Ontario if you're up for a visit. I prefer them in the large 750ml bottle with the cork instead of the standard bottle with foil wrapper. Used to be you could only get the corked versions up in Quebec, but I've been finding them down in Ontario now. Note, not for the faint of heart, these are seriously strong beers. And don't bother with the Blanche de Chambly.

American beer is usually the butt of jokes around the world, but there are some really good beers. On a consumer level, I like many Sam Adams offerings. There are some good craft breweries. I met a guy who worked at Buckeye Brewing and gave me a Martian Marzen Lager. Pretty good stuff.

All the Unibroue stuff is wicked!

Generally yes, but I'm not a fan of Blanche de Chambly at all.

Most people who try these beers spit them out. It's like wine, an acquired taste. I used to hate beer until I started trying all these different things. Now if somebody offers me a lame beer (Bud, Girls-lite (Coors-lite), Blue, etc.) I'd rather just have a softdrink).

I recently tried some of this, due to a sign they had in the pub: "What's the matter Lagerboy, afraid you might taste something?"
