RRC LWB project

I'm narrowing my search and I think I've decided on a RRC LWB. Can someone post some examples of built LWB's? I'm looking for examples that show lifts, tire size, armor and possibly aux. or extended fuel tanks.

Thanks.

I went through my archive of RRC images collected over the years and this is the only LWB I found in the bunch. The only disadvantage of the LWB is the smaller breakover angle. Front/rear approach/departure angles remain the same. The only benefit of the LWB is 8" of additional length in the rear doors. Cargo area behind the seats remains exactly the same as a SWB model.

The Queen actually commissioned LR to build the LWB to facilitate all her fancy dresses, hence all the extra room is between the front and second row seats- and as a result also in the longer second row door. Great for normal folks with kids in car seats in the second row too!!

I built a really nice '95 LWB a few yrs back for a client.
The best thing I did was swap in a 300TDI and a 5-speed for him.
I'll see if I can find some pics for ya this week.

This was my 91 LWB with a 300Tdi and auto. Slow uphills and headwinds but great in low range for days at a time.

Specs for the LWB in the pics:
-'95 Softdash
-2in suspension
-Corrected Radius arms & Trailing arms
-4.11 R&P w/air lockers F&R
-HD Axles F&R
-235/85R16 BFG KO2's
-Rovertym Bumpers & sliders
-Fresh 300TDI(Tuned)/R380(5-speed)/1.2 LT230(Lots of upgrades)

Client wanted something reliable and could be used as a DD or long distance hauler.
He's put almost 80k on it in 3yrs without any issues or hiccups.
From FL>Baja>BC>Nova Scotia>FL in a consistent trip last Fall.

I did add a FrontRunner rack w/RTT for him before he left for this last adventure...which is not in the pic.

I love this idea, because I have a strong emotional attachment to the LWB. As a fresh faced engineer (as opposed to the wizened, jaded one I am now) I interned at Land Rover and joined the very small team developing the LWB version of the Range Rover. My first ever production parts were the seat brackets for the rear seats on that vehicle.
I always wanted to do a bob-tailed version of the LWB, I have drawings of it somewhere!
